MLS Career Highlights: The Crew's longest tenured player, had appeared in 133 MLS games, 93 of them starts, entering this season... Had three goals and 13 assists in that time... Returned to action on 8/19/06, after missing more than a season and a half with a knee injury, surgeries and long rehabilitation process... He became one of the first professional athletes in any sport to return from the experimental surgery in which his own cartilage was grown in a lab and reimplanted into his knee...
