Eagle Hall of Fame

Inducted in:

 2003 - John Michael Streitenberger.
John Michael was on the very first Eagles team.  He played on the Eagles from U9 through U13.  He made a decision to play football following his U13 season.  He was selected as the first Hall of Fame player because he epitomized what the Eagles are meant to be.  Skilled players who play hard, who have excellent, team first attitudes, who make their teammates better by the way they play and what they add to team chemistry.  John Michael brought a lot of laughter to his teammates through his sense of humor and earned a lot of respect from opposing players with his tough defensive play and his game impacting attacking skills.  John Michael is pictured in the original Eagles team photo from the U10 year.  In the photo below, he is the second player from the right in the first row.

2004 - Max Weston.
Max was an original Eagle.  He now plays for the highly ranked Indiana Hoosiers' soccer team ('07).  He was selected as a Hall of Famer in 2004 because he was the first Eagle to play on a high school varsity team.  As a high school freshman he played on the Worthington Christian team that made the State Semi Finals.  As a junior, Max was all district and all state in Division 3.  As a senior on the State Champion Worthington Christian Warriors, Max was all conference, all district, all state, Division 3 Player of the year in the State of Ohio, a first team selection to the All Regional team and the only  boys field player in central Ohio to be selected to the first team of  the High School All American Team.  He is model for younger players to follow, always working hard to improve his game.  Max is shown in the photo at right during the 2006 State High School Championship game.  He is pictured below in the original Eagles photo third from the left in the front row.

2006 - Michael Dybdahl.
Michael was also a member of the original Eagles.  In fact, he chose the team name.  He now plays for Taylor University, Indiana. ('07).  Michael was selected to the Hall of Fame for his long term commitment and his outstanding achievements on the field, both in performance and sportsmanship.  As a high school junior and senior, Michael was the goalkeeper for the Worthington Christian Warriors.  As a junior he was named to the third all district team and as senior he was second team all conference.  He added much to his team's chemistry with a positive and encouraging demeanor.  His senior year Michael's goals against per game average was less than .75.  Michael had a key role in the State Championship game his senior year, keeping a shutout through regulation and two overtimes, and stopping two of four penalty kicks in the shoot out.  Michael is pictured in the photo at right, and in the original Eagles photograph below - he is in the middle of the back row.
